Ann Hines of Casper sends this information about a successful preservation effort for a school in Casper that was scheduled for demolition.
“Casper, Wyoming has much to do in preserving our old schools. However, we do have one success story. A local Baptist church purchased a school several years ago that was to be torn down. They have done quite a bit of renovations. The gym has been updated with paint and the floor refinished.
(This can be used by the community.) Many of the classes have been painted. Some new windows have been installed. I haven't been in the building in a few years, but was impressed with what they had done. Plaudits to the church!”
Good News, Thank you.
